Sleeping soundly,I heard it noisily.
A sound . . . . .
Which was more than a bound.
I was awake,
frightened as if a snake,
was just beside me the night.
What a fright!
First of all
it sounded like a ball.
Second of all
the noise began to fall!
Then the barking of a hungry dog!
Thus!
I intended to go out with no fuss!
I knew what it was....
and where my neighbour was.
It was him
and his dog, little old Kim.
They were playing ball
in the cold of their favourite season fall!
