How To Make A Mask

This is what I did yesterday. . . I made my own mask!
Today I am going to tell you how to make a mask.

WHAT YOU NEED.

1. Hard paper ( one or more )
2. Scissors
3. Glue
4. Stuffs to decorate like sequences, laces, beads and feathers.

WHAT TO DO.

1. First fold the paper in half and draw one side of the mask.
2. Cut out the mask while half folded and when you open it you will get your full mask in shape.
3. Then you can decorate your mask any way you like with your decorating stuff.

For decoration I used beads, sequences and my glitter pens.

I HOPE YOU LIKE MY MASK.

THANK YOU!!

A Glorious Day in a fog.

Today was such a glorious day. As it is weekend my Mom took me and my brother to see the fog at the National Park.

This was the first time I saw a fog though it is artificial. I was so excited that my head will pop! As my mother and my baby brother were walking, I was jumping on the road behind them with excitement. After fifteen minutes we reached the  park just in time to see the fog coming out from the trees and the plants. When the fog completely covered the area I was not able to see my mother even near me. We had to call or touch each other to find one another. It was great fun.
Me enjoying the foggy fog.

After I came out of the fog mother laughed at me. I asked what the matter was but she just didn't tell me. She pulled her phone out of her pocket and gave a click. It was then I realized that there was moist on my face like snow. I saw myself as a snowman in the photo. I blushed and washed all the water by rubbing my hands. Some came out as water drops while the others came out as bubbles. My brother tried to catch the bubbles. By the way, my little brother didn’t like the fog much.

At MarryBrown

Then we went to MarryBrown. The food was delicious. The burger was my favorite. I was the last one to finish when I had to eat chips from my brother’s dish as he didn’t eat it.
Today was the day I enjoyed the most. I would never forget this day.

What Happened Today After A Tsunami Warning.

Today at school something scary happened. Something that happened long ago was going to repeat this day. People were saying there is a tsunami coming here to Maldives.

At the end of the second period in the school we were told about a tsunami coming towards our country. When we heard the news some of us were frightened, some of us were screaming and most of us were surprised with mouths open wide. I was one of the surprised kids. I looked outside the window. It was getting dark out there in the compound.

tsunami in 2004

I looked at the teacher. She was holding her phone and calling some children's parents. Just then a loud scream came from the grade ones classes.

Me and my class mates looked shocked as we looked out of the window. We got an announcement for all grades.

After the announcement parents came in and took children's with them. I was fetched by my sister and put home. My mother was surprised to see me. Mother asked why and sister told everything. After telling everything mother switched on the T.V and there was the news. My sister had gone upstairs by that time.

After watching the news all day long I finally knew no tsunami was coming here after all.

Jokes I've Enjoyed

Teacher asked Anny a question, and see what she had answered.

Teacher asks Anny:  Anny? What will the hen do if you wash it in hot water?

Anny replies:  Hum... It would lay boiled eggs?

Teacher asks Anny:  What? How would a hen lay boiled eggs in hot water?

Anny replies:  Miss, didn't you say so in the previous lesson, that if you put an egg in hot water it will be boiled?

When Was Rome Built?

Teacher to Tom: When was Rome built?

Tom replies: At night.

Teacher to Tom: Why did you say that?

Tom replies: Because Jerry always says that Rome wasn't built in a day!

Why was the Principal worried?

Jerry replies: Because there were too many rulers in school!

Where Did Tommy Go?

Tommy asks: Can we go to the new shop today?

Mom says: O.K. But remember don't get lost!

Tommy replies: Yes!

Tommy got out of the car as soon as they reached the shop. Mother tried to catch hold of him but Tommy ran too fast. In they went and Tommy was no where to be found. Where did Tommy go? Soon she saw Tommy come out of the toilet.

Tommy says: Let's go now.

Mom asks: What? Why?

Tommy says: Because I went to the toilet already now!

Now you will know what happened. Right?

What was wrong with Eric's skates?

The day finally came to Eric to try his new roller skates he got for his birthday. Eric is short for his age with dark brown hair and he always smiles when he talks. It was Friday so he woke up at 9 o'clock in the morning, brushed his teeth, got dressed and went to find his mother and tell her about his skates. His mother was in the kitchen making sandwiches.
"You're not going anywhere without having breakfast," said Eric's mother smiling.
Eric's mother is a jovial woman and always looked easy on everything. Eric thought he could be easy on everything too.
"O.K." said Eric as he got hold of the plate that had a tuna sandwich in it.

When Eric got out of the kitchen, his mother started making more sandwiches for the rest of the family. Eric sat down on the dinning table nearby the kitchen and started eating his breakfast.
"Mom it's so YUMMY!" He said to his mother.
When he finished eating he got up, got his roller skates and came back to his mother and said, "Can I go now?"
"Yes, of course. Have fun!" she replied in a kind voice.
Eric rushed to the door and wore his boots. As he wore his boots he looked at the clock.
"9:15! Oh No!" Eric panicked remembering that he was going skating with his friends too.
Without saying goodbye to his mother he went on running on the streets, park and the main roads. Finally he reached the parks where his friends were skating.
"You are late!" His friends said. "Hurry up and come. We are playing "Touch The Person"." One of his friends yelled. It was Eric's turn to "touch" so he got into his roller skates quickly.

After playing for a while, Eric realized that he kept falling every time he tried to skate but not his friends. When he thought he could not skate, he got out of his skates and came running home. Weeping, he dropped his skates beside him and Eric sat on the carpet of grass out in his mother's garden. His mother came rushing out of the door to him when she heard the weeping of her son. She asked what the matter was.
"Something is wrong with my roller skates. I keep falling and I don't know what to do." Eric cried.
Eric's mother gave out a little giggle and said "Skating takes a little practice. Nothing is wrong with your roller skates."
"One thing is Eric, the skates could not keep your balance, because you did not learn to keep your balance in the right way yet."  Explained his mother.
"The other one is that you don't use the safety breaks properly." She said pointing to the safety breaks under the roller skates.
"Oh! So now I know. I always need to practice my skating so I could skate perfectly like my friends." Said Eric, excitingly.
"Yes! And if you practice the whole weekend I'm sure you would be proud of yourself the next time you meet your friends" Replied his mother.
He cannot wait to see how much his friends would be surprised of his skating when he practices.

After a whole weekend practice he was ready to show off his friends what he learned. He went to the park and started skating with his friends. It was Eric's turn to skate.
When Eric was skating, his friends came up to him.
"You are so good today!" cried one of his three astonished friends.
"How did you learn all this in a week?" asked the second one.
"We never missed a trick!" cried the third one.
"With practice and determination anybody can be good at anything in the world!" Said Eric proudly.

He felt so good of himself he cannot wait to go home and tell his mother what happened.

The Cool Gadget I Received

I got a cool gadget from my Mom And Dad. It is a dictionary. Its not like the book and stuff but looks like a little laptop. Its in black colour and is filled with lots of information. I can do many things with it.

My dictionary

Inside it there are six important buttons. Two of them are related to the dictionary. The other one is "Solvers" which is a button that leads to a page where corrections are made. Next is "games". This button takes to a page where you can find many crossword puzzles, hangman and more games. I can even store my friends data in it.

I love this gadget. I especially want to thank my parents for this.

Thank You!

My Swimming Starts Again

I have half of my interest in swimming. Its one of the most popular sports in the world. I know how to swim, but my  mother put me in the Swimming Association because my swimming skills are low. I just love swimming. Now I have to go swimming every weekdays to the Track and I love going swim with my daddy every Friday.
But the most funny thing is, my mother even doesn't know how to swim.

Me coming out after a swim.

I'm looking forward to learn how to improve my swimming skills and not to disagree my mother that I do know how to swim. She just put me in there to improve my skills.

If you think you know how to swim don't stop swimming! Future depends on every thing! Practice makes perfect you know.
THANK  YOU!!!!
